I believe that Montesquieu was most influential to the U.S. government because he believed that there should be 3 branches of government. Also the separation formed the U.S. government.

Montesquieu is the most influential to the Government of the United States because he believed in the separation of powers which we see today with the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. To prevent one group from gaining too much power he created a system of checks and balances which is also seen today in our government. So I believe that Montesquieu was the most influential philosopher.

I think that Montesquie had was most influential to the U.S. government. His ideas of the 3 branches of government so that one branch could not take over and have to much power. He was able to really think about what would really be effective and this is why is was one of the most influential philosophers of his time.

I believe that Montesquie is the most logical choice as to who was the most influential to the U.S. government, because he came up with the effective idea of having three different branches of government. These are the legislative, executive, and judicial. They are still used today because they are the most successful.

Personally I think Montesquieu was the philosopher that made the most impact on the government of the United States. His idea of three branches of government led to the United States making three branches of government.

I believe that Montesquieu had the biggest influence on the United States Government. He interpreted the British government to have three branches of government (legislative, executive, and judicial) that create a system of checks and balances. Although his interpretation of the British government is wrong, this is what the United States government has been based off of. We use this system still today and it works for us.

I believe that Montesquieu had the biggest influence on the Government that we have today in the united states. His idea to make 3 types of branches to make sure everybody had equal power was a really important thing to do. He made sure that every person was treated equally and no one was being cheated or favored.

I believe Montesquieu had the biggest influence because his belief in the separation of powers and a system of checks and balances set the basis for American government today.

  14. I think Montesquieu had the largest influence on our government because his belief in three branches of government formed the foundation for our modern democracy. The seperation of powers prevents each branch from becoming to powerful.

I think that Montesquieu was the most influential to the U.S Government, because of his ideas of the three branches, and checks and balances. Our Government currently still uses them.
